Hi, Beautiful Mama. Your Holiday Mini Photo Session is right around the corner. (*Insert lots of squealing and happy dancing from me!🙌)

In case you can’t tell, I am so excited to see your sweet family.

I know more than anything you want to make real, laughing-until-your-cheeks-hurt memories with your kids.

But it can be so hard to slow down and enjoy your family this time of year.

That’s why we’re going to make sure your Holiday Mini Photo Session isn’t just another thing you feel rushed to check off your to-do list.

Instead, you’ll get to snuggle, connect, laugh, and play for 15 sweet, uninterrupted minutes with the people you love the most.

Think of this as your mini-retreat away from the pre-holiday hustle. It’s your permission to hit pause and take some precious time to be with your family.

To help ease any last-minute nerves or questions that might be going through your mind, here are three things I want you to know as you prepare for your Holiday Mini Photo Session.

  1. You can be yourselves.

In fact, I wouldn’t want your family to be anything else. This is the perfect time to show off what makes you unique. Do you snuggle up in matching onesies on Christmas Eve? Wear those pajamas for your session! Are you guys known for your outdoor adventures, even in the snow? Bring those fuzzy hats, scarves, and snowshoes! Are your kids insisting your pup is a member of the family, too? Then I completely agree, and I’ll save her a spot!

When you’re imagining how you want your photos to look, start with what you’re most comfortable in (if you’ll be in the photos too, Mama) and then plan the rest around letting your family’s personality shine through. Which brings me to my next point:

  1. This session isn’t just for kids.

Parents, I’d love for you to be in these photos. And so would your kids! Because when they look back on them someday, they’ll want to see and remember you.

Don’t get me wrong, if you’re dreaming of a shot of your littles kissing each other on the cheek under the mistletoe, you know I’ve got you. But don’t assume Holiday Minis are only for kids. I wasn’t joking when I said this was your chance to sit back and snuggle up with your family. If you want to be in the photos, all you have to do is show up and enjoy your kids. I’ll take care of the rest and make sure the memories of you all together are captured beautifully.

  1. Your photos can be treasured beyond the holidays.

You’re likely choosing a Holiday Mini Session because you have holiday greeting cards in mind. But that doesn’t mean we can’t create photos that you’ll want to hang up year-round, too. Your set will be custom-made to fit your family. So if you’d prefer fewer Christmas props and a more wintery, bright white feel to go with a neutral wardrobe, we’ll make it happen.

Thank you so much for choosing me for your family’s photos!

I cannot wait for you to enjoy this pre-holiday pause together and for you to be blown away when you get your photos and see the love and connection your family shares right now.
